Abstract:The fabrication and characterization of waveguide Bragg gratings integrated with aluminum oxide channel waveguides are reported. Passive and lasing Bragg-grating-based cavities with Q-factors exceeding $1.5 \times 10^{6}$ and $1.1 \times 10^{11}$, respectively, are demonstrated.
