| Abstract: | In this study, it was shown that using the optical flow and the focus of expansion, obtained from the monocular camera at the beginning of a colonoscope, (semi-)automated steering of flexible endoscopes might become possible. This automation might help to increase colonoscopy efficiency, but is also applicable in other areas. |
