Abstract:This study aims at designing and evaluating a professional development arrangement to support teachers' enactment of IPA. Exemplary curriculum materials were considered an essential part of the professional development arrangement. The following research question and sub-questions formed the basis of the research: What are characteristics of a teacher professional development arrangement, in which curriculum materials are embedded that adequately support teachers in the enactment of IPA?
