| Abstract: | We present the fabrication and performance of distributed feedback channel waveguide lasers in erbium- and ytterbium-doped aluminium oxide. The low-threshold devices demonstrate slope efficiencies up to 67% and narrow linewidths as low as 1.7 kHz. |
