Abstract:Tm(1.5%)-Gd(29.5%)-Lu(25%) co-doped KY(WO4)2 layers were grown onto KY(WO4)2 substrates by liquid-phase epitaxy. Channel waveguides were structured with Ar-beam milling and overgrown with pure KY(WO4)2. Lasers demonstrated 31.5% slope efficiency and 149 mW of output power.
