Abstract:This critical review describes recent efforts in the field of chromophoric scaffolding. The advances in this research area, with an emphasis on rigid scaffolds, for example, synthetic polymers, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), nucleic acids, and viruses, are presented (166 references).
