Abstract:	This paper addresses the question of how organisations can foster high technology businesses in an incubation-type environment. We compare the approaches taken by a large private firm with a successful University entrepreneurial program to outline successful elements in creating a successful high tech business incubation environment. By outlining similarities and differences of the two cases, this paper provides practical insights how to foster high technology businesses.
