Steenhuis, Harm-Jan and Bruijn, Erik J. de (2005) Teaching supply chain management by connecting with industry: experiences and challenges. In: 36th Annual meeting of the Decision Science Institute, 2005, San Francisco, USA (pp. pp. 22941-22946).
|Abstract:||This paper describes an approach to teaching supply chain management that is very much
integrated with local industry. More than half of the time, students were interacting with
companies in company visits and small projects. The approach has many challenges but is
considered useful by industry, students and instructor.
