| Abstract: | Mobile communications is a rapidly growing service in the field of telecommunications. However, the capacity (frequency spectrum) required to accommodate the increasing number of subscribers to mobile services is severely restricted due to government regulations and other users of the available frequency spectrum (e.g., radio, airline and military communications). therefore, efficient use has to be made of that part of the frequency spectrum allocated to providers of mobile telecommunications services. |
