Abstract:	The power of the Force: The rupture force of supramolecular bonds, as well as the unbinding dynamics of associated polymers, have been studied by AFM-based single-molecule force spectroscopy (AFM-SMFS). The first quantitative comparison of bond-rupture dynamics from independent AFM-SMFS and NMR data is highlighted.
