Abstract:We study controller design from the behavioral point of view. Given a plant and a regularly implementable specification, our goal is to design a regular controller that uses as few control variables as possible. It turns out that the solution basically consists of two main steps. The first step is to design a regular controller that is equivalent to the canonical controller. The second step is searching for the desired controller in a class parameterized by the controller designed in the first step.
