| Abstract: | We discuss the annotation procedure for mental state and emotion that is under development for the AMI (Augmented Multiparty Interaction) corpus. The categories that were found to be most appropriate relate not only to emotions but also to (meta-)cognitive states and interpersonal variables. The history of the development of the annotation scheme is briefly described. The discussion centers around the presentation of the procedure. |
