Abstract:	This document contains a tutorial on the recent work in the area of offering services in the Internet. We cover the principles and some of the details of In- tegrated Services and Differentiated Services. We also explain the relationship to RSVP of each of these architectures. Finally, we draw some conclusions about the relationship of these architectures to SURFnet.
