| Abstract: | Advances in biotechnology and enzymology have brought new lines of research and have accelerated the development of enzymatic applications in wet textile processing for now nearly one decade. Amongst the various stages of cotton preparation, wet textile processing is a highly energy, water and chemicals consuming step. Enzymes are known for their specificity, high efficiency and ability to work under mild conditions and provide a promising solution to these challenges. |
