| Abstract: | The first part of this thesis studies the purely theoretical part, and develops the contact equations in forming, as well as discusses most popular methods to solve it with a sufficient degree of accuracy, stability and efficiency. By retaining a high level of abstractness it is shown that all the popular methods arise from a common form. The second part of this thesis deals with the practicalities of the methods. |
