| Abstract: | In this paper the development of an implicit code is illustrated. The sheet elements as well as the contact description need some special attention. Further, a connection with commercially available CAD packages is essential for a user-friendly range of application. Examples of a simulation of an automotive product and a multi-step deep-drawing process are given. To widen the scope, a start is made with explicit methods with emphasis on contact formulation. |
