Abstract:	In this paper, we investigate the meaning and impact of multi-dimensional construction of software, as exemplified by Aspect-Oriented Programming and Composition Filters. A simple application is introduced to illustrate the discussion topics. We conclude with a number of requirements for multidimensional programming.
