| Abstract: | Non-covalent synthesis was used in the controlled assembly of metallodendrimers containing up to 12 porphyrins on the surface. A porphyrin containing four Pd-Cl complexes was synthesized to assemble dendrimers with a porphyrin in the nucleus. 1H NMR, ES-MS and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry were used to characterize the nanometer-size assemblies.
