Abstract:	The aromatic phthalimido moieties of the title compound, C56H52N4O12, do not (mutually) stack intramolecularly nor intermolecularly, but rather intermolecularly with the nitrobenzyl moieties. The molecules show twist-distorted C2v symmetry
